Your ‘day to day’: • Ensure that LSP (logistics service provider) and department employees comply with applicable laws and regulations, including with respect to health and safety and as well as company policies and procedures. • Perform housekeeping and safety audits to validate storage conditions, sanitation, and product integrity according to the company’s warehousing guidelines. Propose and implement corrective actions as needed. • Ensure a steady and cost-efficient waste removal and disposal process. • Organize, manage, and control all warehousing activities to ensure effective and efficient achievement of business objectives and market requirements. • Ensure all materials and finished goods movements, safe storage, inventories, and destructions comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. • Guarantee uninterrupted support in the delivery of materials to manufacturing areas and ensure proper utilization and development of warehousing facilities to support long-term production and shipment plans. • Collaborate with the Quality department and relevant stakeholders to define the QA strategy to prevent quality incidents, mitigate non-conformities in the process, and guarantee product integrity. • Manage third-party logistics service provider(s) to ensure uninterrupted provision of services via OTIF orders fulfillment. • Maximize external and internal warehouse capacity and resource utilization, continuously improving inventory management quality and cost efficiency. • Monitor and control the performance of external business partners according to contractual terms and company standards. • Work with relevant stakeholders to negotiate contracts that ensure availability of suitable space for finished goods and materials storage. • Drive productivity improvement opportunities based on internal analysis and proactive external benchmarking, set improvement targets for logistics service provider(s) and internal teams, and ensure their implementation. • Lead new business developments to evaluate impacts on the existing logistics infrastructure (warehouses, product flows, and systems). • Play a key role in developing, deploying, and sustaining a lean manufacturing methodology within the Factory Logistics department. • Manage and develop a motivated, skilled, and optimally resourced team to ensure performance levels and professional development meet or exceed business objectives. • Maximize organizational and individual performance to attain business objectives and manage, coach, develop, and motivate staff. • Play a key role in defining the warehousing strategy in alignment with relevant stakeholders and lead its implementation. • Plan and manage Factory Logistics activities and workloads to ensure business objectives and key performance measures are met. Who we’re looking for: • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Logistics, IT, or Engineering or similar field • 7 or more years of experience in Operations including people management • Experience with Data Driven Stock Management (stock movements control) • Experience with Data Driven Warehouse Design and Logistics Services Management • Experience with security infrastructure (access control, policy enforcement, confidentiality, privacy) • Experienced user of MS Office • Practical knowledge of LEAN methodology • Manufacturing process knowledge • Fluent in English • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Annual Base Salary Range: $128,000-$176,000 Application deadline: 8/29/2024 What we offer: We offer employees a competitive base salary and the potential to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
