Your ‘day to day’: We are hiring for a Technical Services Manager to oversee critical aspects of our manufacturing process. In this role, you will lead and organize activities related to maintenance strategy, industrialization support, production stability, innovation, performance improvement, and outsourcing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless production processes aligned with objectives for productivity, cost optimization, quality, safety, and other relevant KPIs. Additional responsibilities include: • Ensure compliance with all PMI and legal standards, policies, and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset, or societal loss. • Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with lean manufacturing/Integrated Operating Systems. Ensure compliance with all PMI and Legal standards and guidelines related to the quality of incoming materials, semi-finished goods and FGs in line with the QMS. • Proactively lead, in cooperation with QA reps and relevant stakeholders, the quality program to prevent quality incidents, reduction and elimination of non-conformities in the process and product integrity. • Ensure development and lead maintenance and asset management strategies in short-terms and LRP horizon in order to produce quality product while maximizing equipment performances with optimal cost. • In liaison with the Engineering Department, evaluate technical and commercial options to improve manufacturing performance and flexibility and recommend equipment changes and support their implementation when appropriate. • Lead technical services function budget in line with strategy and functional zero loss journey, ensuring tracking and compliance to committed OB numbers. • Ensure focus on delivering productivity targets by eliminating losses in maintenance, asset management and investment. • Responsible for the strategy definition and deployment of reapplication and knowledge sharing in the area of competence. • Perform regular coaching to develop capabilities of the team on the daily management systems and to support in the personnel skill/technical development of each team member. Coach the team to encourage a mindset of continuous improvement. • Build effective relationships within production lines and other key stakeholders across the business in order to achieve outstanding business outcomes. • Communicate on loss elimination priorities, plans, and responsibilities to ensure cross-functional alignment. Share knowledge and methods to encourage and foster benchmarking, reapplication, and continuous improvement.
