The Challenge The main role of the Distribution Specialist is to ensure efficient distribution, while also contributing to commercial strategies and data analysis. Distribution Specialist is expected to analyze trends and department performance, to provide relevant insights that enables distribution strategy definition. Distribution Specialist must collaborate on adapting our distribution model in line with the business transformation, fostering digital evolution, while optimizing the growing scope of business sufficiently to run without hindrance. Your day-to-day • Monitor improvement projects across the current distribution flows related to our brands (Conventional and SFPs) and for ensuring that we have sufficient controls in place via SLA's with our logistic partners. • Constantly search/adapt towards effective and cost-efficient distribution models that make use of synergies and create value in line with performance targets. • Liaise with logistics providers, establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensure compliance as well as quality standards and define action plans to close any gaps in case of need. • Develop and implement distribution-related incentives to increase speed to market, enhance market presence and drive sales growth aligned with commercial strategy. • For portfolio initiatives, develop retro-plannings to ensure distribution readiness together with a high speed to market, while guaranteeing an alignment with the relevant internal stakeholders. • Provide relevant & timely reporting ensuring accuracy and completeness to monitor overall Department performance against targets. • Analyze key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support fast decision making. • Drive department's digitalization by identify non-add value activities and implementing key projects to increase department efficiencies and cost reduction. Who we are looking for • University Degree in relevant areas such as Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields • Minimum 3 or 4 years of relevant experience in Distribution, Commercial or Supply Chain field • Strong FMGC knowledge • Expert on the role of analytics in supporting strategy development and execution on a daily basis • Collaborative and team player able to work for the common interest • Ability to think analytically and develop business insights using data • Continuous improvement mind-set to be able to identify opportunities and define action plans • Advanced level of English and Portuguese; • Proficiency in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel), PowerBI • Action Oriented, fast learner and Problem-Solving attitude • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and follow time frames • EU work permit What we offer • Permanent local contract, with a competitive salary plus Tabaqueira’s employee Benefit including: o Life and Health insurance; o Pension Plan; o Education allowance • A challenging work environment, with great development opportunities; • Growing and development opportunity within the Company.
