Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed as a 12 months’ fixed term contractor to support Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. in Hong Kong. You will ... • Handle the monthly medium term planning process and the weekly supply planning process of all assigned product groups in order to prepare in-time for capacity creation/reduction and the procurement of long-lead-time components. • lead team-mates to ensure the supply delivery of suppliers is on time as per agreed shipment plan; managing their operational performance, liaising on required action to correct existing issues/mitigate potential risk. • Communicate with stakeholders on special edition, phasing in /phasing out of assigned product variants according to Product Introduction Process with close collaboration with external and internal parties with an aim to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products with minimal obsolete finished goods and components. • Work towards continuous improvement in the supply planning process; achieve operational excellence and promote effective/efficient supply planning process. • Rationalize the air freight request; develop downstream on product/market policy and incorporate into the MPS planning to visualize the future forecast and risk projection. • Manage phasing-in-out product variants; Special Edition; LoGD plan back; Suppliers rework management as well as quality return rework with upfront alignment among business partners on when, what and how data be input in system with right time, right volume and right quality. • Initiate key meetings for any supporting needs to mitigate and minimize disruption on any supply and projects. • Collaborate with capacity planning lead and provide vital alert on sourcing issues (i.e. short term reallocation causing materials shortage); ensure smooth transition during the sourcing/resourcing process, remove blocking issues. Fits a variety of parameters like: desired delivery time, changes in product specs, life cycle management, risk of failure...etc that link the short term plan forms part of the long-term business plan • Handle business partners and ensuring they are operating under the Standard Operation Procedures. Monitor supplier performances and motivate them for continuous improvement to excel the operations excellence. • Build relationships within the company and with external parties such as suppliers/service providers with diverse backgrounds aiming at identify problems and collaborate on solutions. • Lead complex, integral supply chain projects across functions and work with different international sites that lead to end-to-end supply chain process enhancement, operations improvement in terms of efficiency and effectiveness that aim to continuous improvement and sustainability. Who we’re looking for • University degree in Business Administration /Supply chain/Industrial Engineer • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Planning with exposure to a multinational environment preferable in the electronic business environment. • Project Management Experience, Action oriented, Priority Setting, Problem Solving, Standing Alone, Learning on the fly, Listening, Organizational Agility • Functional skills: Good knowledge of SAP, Excellent MS Office skills (particularly Excel – including creation & analysis of large database) and Workpoint • Able to work in a multifaceted organization and fast-paced environment • Proficient in English, both written and spoken What we offer Our success depends on the talents who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
