To strengthen our team, we are currently sourcing a Trade Engagement Executive. The mission of the Trade Engagement team is to develop a B2B engagement strategy with our trade partners at its heart. Informing, educating, and motivating our trade partners remains key in order to continue to reach our consumers with, and inform them about, our brands and multi-category product offers. The ultimate goal is to create a positive disposition towards our multi-category portfolio of brands and products in order to facilitate the realization of our commercial KPI’s and to help our trade partners to optimize their business. The Trade Engagement Executive will support the enabling of the indirect retail channels to deliver the best-in-class commercial performance and retail NPS. Within the role your main responsibility is to support the development and deployment of multi-category Trade Marketing campaigns, programs and initiatives in support of the commercial agenda. It requires a close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, such as Field Sales, Key Account, Marketing, Commercial Planning and Country Team BE. Responsibilities of the role: • Set up and/or support the development and deployment of a Trade Engagement plan for different multi-category initiatives in order to inform, educate and motivate our Trade partners in the best way possible to support the commercial KPI’s. • Write clear, professional, and singular tone of voice communication (copywriting) in local languages for different trade communication vehicles, incl. alignment with all involved internal stakeholders (cf. Marketing, Legal, EA…) to refine and check the content in time. • Interact in a professional way with third party suppliers for the sourcing and purchase of toolbox activation items, ensuring end-to-end follow up from initial contact to delivery towards Field Sales teams. • Ensure clear and understandable communication towards Field Sales through Teams, Info bulletin and Sales Letter in collaboration with the Commercial Planning team. • Help improve our retailer approach on different levels of interaction from a Trade Engagement point of view with a constructive mind-set. • Analyze past initiatives to compare the results vs. goals and to identify areas of improvement for future initiatives. Key challenges in the role: • You will have to connect with many internal and external stakeholder to co-create and to get things done. • You will have to prioritize the work and requests you will get, to maximize the outcome. • You will need to get up to speed fast with different processes. • You will need to be proactive and be able to work independently to achieve the set goals. You’ll be our ideal candidate if you: • Have a good understanding and knowledge of the Dutch (indirect retail) market (channels and customers/retailers) through front office experience. • Experience with third party management (i.e. agency management) is a plus. • Strong consumer-centric mindset combined with the ability to adapt messaging towards trade partners based on retailer knowledge & insights. • Strong collaboration and influencing skills to seek true collaboration and build bridges with multiple internal and external stakeholders to reach common goals. • Solid presentation skills in order to bring a structured story (in .ppt) to an audience of peers in order to convince them of your plan. • Effective planning skills to allow and facilitate working on different tasks, projects and initiatives at the same time whilst respecting the necessary deadlines. • Independent and hands-on mentality towards finding solutions to problems and overcoming obstacles in order to move forward. • Native level of Dutch/French speaking and writing. Being able to write in a professional and pleasant way is a plus. • You are comfortable to speak English. What will the selection process look like? Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development. *Assessment Tests The tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests for this role is a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying. Results are therefore not used for purposes of performance evaluation. • Cognitive Ability Test: Report links under three headings: 1.
