Software Development Intern - Surabaya/Jakarta

As a Software Development Intern at our Sampoerna IT department, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and contribute to real-world software projects. You’ll work closely with experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience and applying your academic knowledge in a professional environment. Here are the details: Your ‘day to day’ • Collaborate with development teams on various projects, including coding, testing, and debugging software applications. • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of features. • Work on side projects to improve existing processes or develop new functionalities. Who we’re looking for • Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc program with minimum GPA 3.00 out of 4.00 from Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related major • Passionate about engineering and eager to dive into commercial web application development. • Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.). • Have excellent analytical thinking • Have good communication skill • Fluent in English both oral and written • Willing to be based in Surabaya / Jakarta (placement will be adjusted according to the project) • Join date 1 September 2024 • Internship period of 6 months with possibility of extension up to 12 months What we offer • Exposure to modern DevOps and web frameworks and technologies. • A supportive environment where you can explore different areas of software development (web, mobile, API). • Opportunity to learn industry best practices, agile methodologies, and user-centric design principles.
