Joining IT Consumer The IT Consumer and Commercial team plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. What’s the purpose of this role? As a Tech lead, you will need to collaborate with the solution & domain architect in driving the Content Supply Chain (CSC) vision into reality. You will need to ensure that the solution that is getting implemented is adhered by the design & constructively challenge where you differ with your opinion. You are relentless in your pursuit of engineering excellence, even when that means challenging the status-quo. You are the champion of delivering solutions that meet the needs of the business design team and are loved by your users and customers (E.G., through user research or user-centric design). You’ll be acutely aware that transformation requires a ‘roll up the sleeves’ mentality. Where we See This Role Going • As we transition into product-based organization setup, this individual will become the tech SPoC of this product. • You will have the opportunity to shape the vision of the product by collaborating with rest of the leads. • While we see this role expanding within the function and company, in general, we’re looking for a clear willingness to learn new processes and technologies from day one that will be critical as we seek to remain agile and innovative. • You will maintain our tech product landscape and become an integral component of our product strategy. Your day-to-day • Build a low-level design incorporating the implementation approaches for each module/component within the proposed design. • Deliver the agreed solution and scope with agreed software development quality metrics. • Contribute to the refinement meetings to clarify, understand, and estimate the duration of implementation for prioritised user stories. If needed, you should be able to drive technical refinement meetings effectively. • Serve as the subject matter expert within the product and as the primary point of contact for the product engineering team • Be open to product evolution with addition of new capabilities and features by owing the technical landscape of the platform. • Collaborate with the horizontal teams like Security, Infrastructure and Ops in execution of our product demands where their support is required. • In case of incidents, you will be the point of contact for triaging within your product. Who are you? • Engineering Lead, Technical Architect, Senior Engineer, CSC stack advocate. What is needed to succeed in this Role? • 10+ years’ experience in technical/application architecture or Software Engineering role(s) for large enterprises. • Solid hands-on experience on Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM Assets, Adobe Workfront, Dynamic Media primarily). • Experience in building and maintaining custom integrations with AEM assets will be advantageous. • Experience with Adobe Workfront Fusion will be advantageous. • Project/Product Experience in using languages, scripting & tools namely, • Languages & Scripting: Java (Preferred) or JavaScript (Nice to have). • Tools: BitBucket, Adobe Cloud Manager, Adobe IO etc. • Demonstrated ability in developing, releasing, and evolving enterprise grade software systems. • Solid knowledge & experience on implementing or developing Content Supply Chain solution in Adobe ecosystem. • Proven track record in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments. • Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally. • Team player with proven ability to lead through influence. • Ability to learn faster and contribute. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – ideally in a business or IT related field.
