About the BRIDGE program You will be a part of the PMI’s team during your 6+6 months long, full-time internship. During the program you will perceive monthly scholarship of 944€ (gross salary). You will have the opportunity to benefit from the fully paid online Master or Specific postgraduate degree, validated and recognized by Universidad Camilo Jose Cela and Fundación Universitaria y de Empresa. *Please note that we do not sign University agreements for curricular internships, as we already sign one with the financed Masters at UCJC Who we’re looking for Is procurement your field of interest? Do you have experience / interest in Energy Procurement, Energy-Related Processes and Markets and Environmental Sustainability? Do you have strong analytical skills, eager to perform deep market analysis, interested to take part in negotiations and intend to take data-driven decisions? Are you comfortable with participating in global and regional initiatives on large scale and energy markets? Do you have a proficient level of English? If yes, this job is just for you. • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Environmental Science, Economics or equivalent. • Excellent written and spoken English (C1 / C2) • Project Management Skills & Result Oriented • Sustainability & Environmental interest • Willing to focus on Energy Market and processes. • Strategic thinking • Experience and possibility to generate presentations and data analysis (Excel and PowerPoint advanced level) • Strong verbal and written communication plus analytical skillset • Entrepreneurship & Commercial sense • Stand alone. • Valid Spanish work permit Responsibilities Being part of the Global Procurement Department of Philip Morris International based in our Madrid office, the Energy Procurement & Sustainability Intern will: • Immerse yourself in our ambitious program to map Scope 3 emissions from our suppliers, and the initiatives related to reduce carbon emissions in our value chain. Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders, collect the data, and monitor progress towards our goals. • Support global In Market Distribution procurement (B2B & B2C) function in development & execution of the global sourcing strategy by interacting with internal stakeholders, analyzing markets, and helping to deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies. • To support the team in development of specific best practices for sourcing: TCO / Should cost analysis, distribution models analysis, integration of global standards, category guidelines and negotiation packages. • Explore market and industry dynamics and manage to connect trends and solutions with PMI; get experience on future-oriented field of Energy supply. • Help in defining the cost improvement opportunities through analysis of existing sourcing solutions and investigation of the market. • Help to develop mechanisms and metrics to maintain supplier database, track performance related to delivery, quality, and cost. • Organize presentations and analysis of dates; present and perform them. • Ensure efficient communication with variety of internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
