Joining the Digital Products Portfolio The Digital Consumer Engagement Products portfolio plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers. When you join this team, you will work in a dynamic, diverse, and warm environment. You will be primarily focusing on defining your Digital Product vision, regularly engaging with your customers to gather feedback and understand their needs in order to maximize value. You will be part of all stages of Digital Product incremental value delivery. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY • In collaboration with Product Owners and Delivery Managers, create Product vision and enable Product Team to deliver value to the customer, primarily focusing on UX. • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, reusable and performant integrations, with fast time to market. • Create & manage the application Architecture, in a way it can be scaled, easily maintained and improved. • Assess existing solutions and architectures, proposing improvements or migrations as necessary. • Drive PoC(s) by collaborating with Software Engineering teams to achieve consistent and backed target Architecture. • Drive identification of Non-Functional and technical requirements. • Collaborate with peers and other stakeholders in driving new solutions & initiatives. • Validate any Architectural change requested by Business, BAs or Development teams. • Maintain Architectural documentation and liaise with the Development teams. • Create Performance model specifications for the scoped applications. • Create technical backlogs for the scoped applications. • Identify and propose improvements to the Product Owner. • Deliver artifacts for 3rd party system integrations, namely Application and Technical Architecture and Solution outline. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • Technical background in application engineering and integration. • 5+ years of experience with frontend design & implementation. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in solution architecture with at least 1 year specifically focused on consumer engagement frontend channels. • Deep understanding of one or more JavaScript framework and libraries, such as React, Vue or Angular. • Experience with CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar. Additional experience with headless CMS platforms will be beneficial. • Competency with Web analytics implementation and analysis for continuously drive UX excellence. • In-depth experience with sync and async Integration patterns. • Experience with different API protocols such as REST APIs and GraphQL. • A keen understanding of the cybersecurity landscape with a focus on frontend abuse/misuse. • Knowledge of Agile software delivery principles and frameworks. • Experience with documenting technical design to support implementation, configuration and Run & Support. • Strong Enterprise IT architecture background (processes, data, methodologies, frameworks). • Experience in crafting solution architecture with SaaS/PaaS, custom built, AWS applications and in working in projects that are using Agile and DevOps standard methodologies. • Experience with AWS stack, namely designing and reviewing AWS native solutions. • Technical competency with production deployments and hotfixes. • Experience validating the feasibility and estimation of new requirements. • Ability to identify issues and provide best practices on performance, security and reliability areas. • Experience with Loyalty programs and engines is a plus.
