Responsibilities The Digital Consumer Engagement Products portfolio plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers. As a Back-End Tech Lead in the Commerce domain, you will have the opportunity to build high value, differentiating and impactful solutions and applications that will interface with our customers and support the development, production, and user experience of our products. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic self-starter with deep expertise in complex back-end structures capable of working with different integrated systems. Who Are We Looking For • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computers Engineering or Software Engineering or related field with appropriate experience in backend solutions • 5+ years of confirmed experience as a back-end software developer and experience in developing cloud-enabled products • Experience in software design patterns and software architecture • In-depth understanding of API integrations, Event Driven and Microservices architecture, cloud technologies. • Expertise on architecture transformation, modular/composable architecture, evolutionary architecture and working in a product-based setup. • Strong knowledge and advocate of clean code principles • Proven experience in source code versioning tools, e.g. Bitbucket or GIT • Experienced in Node.js (Javascript / Typescript) and with a good understanding of SQL among others. Knowledge of SAP Hybris is a plus. • Exposure to multi-country solutions • Experience with CI/CD pipelines – Jenkins preferred • Experience in handling Microservices that leverages AWS Lambda, EC2, API Gateways • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and logging and monitoring frameworks such as SIEM or Splunk • Experience in implementing and managing observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack • Experience with designing and implementating of both relational and non-relation databases • Knowledge of Order to Cash processes: order management, billing, eInvoice, pricing & promotions.
