The purpose of the Risk & Assurance function within PMI is to provide independent, objective assurance and risk consulting services designed to add value and improve PMI’s operations, with the mission to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight, through a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes, in order to help PMI accomplish its objectives. A key pillar within the Risk & Assurance Function is the Professional Practices, that acts as the key enabler and accelerator for Audit / Assurance and Non-Financial disclosure engagements through the development and maintenance of audit tooling with focus on Data Analytics, overall enhanced Quality Assurance and centralized reporting of all audit and assurance activities. Overall, the Professional Practices Pillar will drive the complex transformation of the Function through accelerating productivity, increasing efficiency & effectiveness, increasing risk coverage, enhancing audit planning, scoping and quality, data driven desktop reviews, consolidating all audit and assurance activity reporting, amongst others. Your day to day As Lead Prof. Practices –Audit & Data Analytics, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Prof. Practices - Data & Technology. Your collaborative efforts will be pivotal in propelling our digital transformation journey, emphasizing the utilization of advanced technology and data analytics to enhance audit coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness. • Carrying out Data Analytics support tasks for all audit and assurance services throughout their lifecycle: - Assisting in defining the audit scope and objectives and formulating hypotheses to assess each audit. - Accessing data, performing data discovery, data interpretation, and data cleansing. - Utilizing analytics techniques such as descriptive analytics, data mining, data visualization, process mining, to comprehend large datasets to detect patterns, trends, anomalies, and derive valuable insights for assurance and audit purposes. - Creating Power BI dashboards to convey audits findings/ insights / risk areas to obtain pertinent information for the audit. - Conducting data-driven desktop reviews and communicating audit outcomes to relevant stakeholders. - evaluate data-driven insights and anomalies, conveying audit results, insights, and risk areas through audit reports and visual dashboards. • Developing an extensive Data Analytics Toolbox to boost efficiency in assurance programs and audit tasks, aiding efforts related to, but not limited to, SOX, Fiscal Compliance, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption initiatives. • Participating in programs to enhance the technology and data analytics skills of all auditors. • Assisting in Data-Driven Risk Identification and supporting the identification and quantification of data-driven risks for the Enterprise Risk Management. Who we’re looking for • Possession of a university degree (BA/BS) in fields such as Administration, Economics, informatics etc. • Additional professional certification or education post-university is a bonus – examples include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Executive Master Internal/Operational Auditor (EMIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), etc. • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Internal Audit, , Internal Controls, Risk Management, preferably with a mix of these roles. • Relevant experience in: - ‘Big Four’ and/or other public accounting / audit / consulting / data analytics. - Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). - Data Analytics, generating insights, Power BI. • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Ability to use data analytics to generate insights, identify areas of increased/emerging risks, and clearly articulate them. • An inquisitive nature to seek opportunities to simplify and improve existing processes • Candidates with experience in Power BI / DAX, SQL, Macros / VBA, Python / R, Process mining, and familiarity with SAP data models and standard modules will have an advantage What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
