MDM Tech Lead

MAKE HISTORY WITH US! We are looking for a MDM Tech Lead to join our Data Services Engineering team, as part of Data Platform and Services Organization. Our vision is Every Decision, Every Day, Driven by Data. Master Data Management is contributing to this vision by building a strong data backbone to support business processes and analytics in a cross-functional team, located all around the world. As MDM Tech Lead, you will provide technical leadership and oversight to MDM/RDM scalable implementation of various data domains (e.g. Material Master, Finance, Product, Customer etc.). Goal is to ensure end-to-end delivery of data assets with consistency, trust, and adherence to PMI’s principles, polices and standards. You will also be responsible for positioning Master/Reference Data as a strategic enterprise asset to power operational and analytical use-cases. In this role, you will work closely with MDM product manager, analysts, architects, and other MDM Delivery leads to ensure successful delivery of master data capabilities that meet business requirements across multiple projects focused on master data management, governance, data quality, standardization and ongoing monitoring of MDM services. Also, you will work with IT functions and specific projects to understand the requirements; design, build and deploy master data management solutions and services; provide assistance with platform maturity, maintenance and support to our internal stakeholders. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in IT • Minimum of 5+ years in the field of master data management, reference data, data profiling, data quality, data governance or related areas • Proven experience with following data domains using SAP MDM/MDG: business partner (customer or vendor), materials (including products) & finance • Hands-on experience in SAP Master Data and S4 HANA required with Expert level design, development and configuration experience • Proven track record in managing global application implementation projects (SAP, Cloud or others) • Experience in product development processes such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc. • Experience in working with SAP ECC, SAP MDG, SAP MDM, SAP IS, or other MDM solutions • Experience in deploying and managing applications in cloud – DevSecOps, application monitoring, performance management and scalability knowledge is a strong plus • Proven track record of working with global and diverse teams • Experience in dealing with data in a consumer goods or regulated multi-national industry WHAT WE OFFER YOU? • Private medical and dental care, life insurance • Lunch card (Sodexo) • Hybrid work opportunity and flexible working arrangements • Employee pension plan • Multisport program • Cafeteria program • Wide range of trainings, optional language classes, further education and professional qualification support possibility • Free bike and car parking for all employees HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US? • Provides leadership support to multiple individual contributors in master data governance implementation and support team. • Driving implementations and oversee the service health for the MDG solutions. • Drive technology roadmap definition for MDM and best practices definition • Lead, coach and mentor team of engineers so they all learn, grow, and succeed. • Identify & drive process improvement opportunities while working on ambiguous situations. • Provide technical solutions related to MDM design (including data model, data integration and migration, external service inclusion & data ingestion) • Collaborate with MDM product managers and business to develop innovative solutions to business problems and opportunities. • Works with other Architects and product managers to develop detailed technical architecture pattern for Master Data initiatives. • Constantly learn and grow as an engineer and an engineering leader. • Demonstrate a passion for customers and technology. • Acquire in-depth knowledge in MDM technical areas and good understanding of business function requirements • Accountable for designing and delivering solutions for projects • Acquire in-depth knowledge in MDM technical areas and good understanding of business function requirements • As a technical lead within the organization, provide Master Data technical consultation and support for SAP MDG workstream. • For her/his Master Data domain’s stream, acts as the guardian of PMI Master Data Management principles and serves as an MDM/IT subject matter expert. • Coordinate development efforts and implements MDM requirements in our MDM tool stack (mostly SAP MDG) in collaboration with data analyst and MDM analyst. • Support testing and rollout of MDM functionality in project environment to ensure business/IT requirements are fulfilled. • Analyze & recommend action in data maintenance processes for his/her Master Data domain’s stream, based on in-depth analysis and data driven decisions. Also covers MDM process and technical improvement opportunities and make recommendation to amend. • Provide maintenance and support for existing data management solutions, including documentation, specifications, and training. • For her/his Master Data domain’s stream makes sure that PMI Master Data Management principles and standards are defined and applied. • Ensure the integration of the Master Data deployed to/from the rest of the subscribing systems, by actively engaging with IT stakeholders from respective IT platforms. Manage the business requirements for integration of the different subscriber systems requiring the Master Data and ensure data integrity is met at all time. • Partner with MDM product managers and business to develop innovative solutions to business problems and opportunities. • Demonstrate writing of technical documents, writing/fixing existing code, holding code reviews, data fixes and testing. • Demonstrate functional integration with business users documenting requirements, functional specifications, functional/regression/UAT testing. • Be seen as technical expert and voice of knowledge for the Master Data Management team Please note that only online applications will be taken into consideration.
