Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed under Philip Morris Electronics Shenzhen (PMES). PMES operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You are accountable for successful execution of project plan adheres to the timeline, quality and cost by working closely with cross function teams in R&D, product development, NPI and relevant teams to lead the project from product concept validation all the way to product industrialization with a particular focus on HW/FW/ SW integration, applying Project Management standard methodologies to ensure successful completion of projects/programs. • Lead sizable and sophisticated projects consist of internal teams, external technology partners and manufacturing partners across different products and portfolios in hardware, firmware and software development. Participate in defining requirements and proposing solutions, implement the agreed changes to reach the project objectives. • Collaborate very closely with upstream and downstream project leads to ensure detailed ownership transition typical from product Proof-of-Concept (PoC) phase to industrialization phase. • Work with a group of SMEs to drive product design review process to identify risk and form alternative or contingency plan as early as possible. • As an owner of Shenzhen in-house laboratory, work closely with technical teams, procurement and finance to support the implementation of product development laboratory setup; and ensure lab equipment are qualified with maintenance and calibration; ensure company fixed assets safety as well as traceability. Who we’re looking for • University degree in Science/ Electronic/ Software Engineering or equivalent. • 8+ years of development experience in consumer electronics, automotive industry, medical devices or scientific instrumentations, in which at least 2 years were in project management role. Experience in Software/ Hardware/ Firmware development is a MUST. Knowledge in coding is a PLUS (C/ C++/ Java/ Python/ JavaScript) • Strong interpersonal skills among cross teams, stakeholder, procurement, finance, technique teams and suppliers. • High flexibility and owns initiative, analytic, detailed and pro-active approach to lead the equipment purchase and maintenance activities. • Able to foresee the risks and implement the mitigation plan in earlier phase. • Professional-level written and verbal English skills.
