Philip Morris UK (Hammersmith) is seeking multiple National Account Managers with a strong track record of building relationships and driving multi-category account plans. As a National Account Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with key accounts and align our strategic goals with their needs. You will play a crucial role in our team, working closely with different departments to effectively implement channel and account strategies. Responsibilities: • You’ll be cultivating existing and new relationships at multiple levels with key accounts to establish high degrees of trust. • You will be working with internal stakeholders and take part in projects to achieve business objectives for key accounts. • By applying your knowledge of PMI's business and team, you’ll be introducing opportunities and build key account values and relationships. • Applying your storytelling ability to effectively lead, advise, and influence key account buyers regarding broader category insights. • You’ll be negotiating deals with longer-term value aligned with account and channel strategies. • You will be driving decision-making by using business and industry insights. • Implement and deliver approved multi-category channel strategies within your defined account portfolio. • You’ll develop and implement multi-category trading agreements that drive market share growth through the utilization of programs, trade activities, activations, and resource deployment. • By analyzing performance, identifying trends, issues, you’ll look for opportunities within your account portfolio. • As part of this role, you’ll regularly communicate with your line manager to review performance in relation to agreed objectives and ensure adherence to company standards. • You’ll be accountable for the accuracy of account submissions relating to budget, volume, and margin retention. • Last but not least, you’ll ensure complete adherence to all PMI policies and procedures, as well as the Guidebook to Success. About you: • You are someone with proven experience in National Account Management, ideally in an FMCG or other fast paced environment. • You have experience in developing and managing multi-level client relationships, nurturing them to drive business growth. • You have internal stakeholder management experience for developing strategies to prepare the account plans. • You can demonstrate your experience in vendor management and consumer & B2B deployment to drive successful sales strategies. • You are a strong communicator, particularly in client communication and comfortable in dispute resolution. • You have a strong understanding and ability to enable account activation activities to allow positive client onboarding. • You are familiar with key account sales processes and have demonstrated the ability to craft and deliver compelling stories that resonate with key account buyers. • You are someone who can apply their expertise in multi-category deployment to contribute to business expansion and can collaborate with team members from different departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve optimal outcomes.
