The role is pivoted to design the Talent Management strategy and initiatives to ensure sustainable talent development, learning and talent bench for PM Malaysia to drive the ‘smokefree Malaysia’ vision. The role is pivotal in building the next generation of leaders and carving out key programs and interventions for it. It provides distinct interfaces with the Malaysia Management Team, Regional Leadership, and Regional/Global COEs. Your Day to Day: Talent Strategy and Workforce Planning • Facilitate strategic workforce planning to ensure the organization is prepared for the future. Identify and deploy Buy, Build, Borrow initiatives • Provide ITM consulting support to Business partner to design and evolve a holistic approach to developing the skills, knowledge, experience and behaviors required to deliver the Function strategy. Also leverages COE expertise when needed. • Establish a forward-looking and data-based approach to build talent succession pipeline for all levels with an outside-in perspective Talent, Performance Management and Development Together with P&C Managers support business leaders in identifying diverse talents, planning and executing their individual development, building succession plans for critical roles in cluster/country • Drive performance culture enabling managers and employees to set expectations and goals, give and receive feedback and discuss professional development needs and career aspirations • Lead the Talent Review approach with a focus to amplify the talent landscape and devise the required capability interventions • Deploy leadership development programs to ensure current and emerging leaders have the skills to drive the culture, effectively lead, engage and develop their teams. Talent Acquisition • Work with TA to build strong employer brand positioning • Develop a sustainable talent attraction plans to build diverse pipelines for future needs • Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of the new employees to the organization's culture and vision, provide organizational support to line managers to facilitate their new hires effective transition to their new roles Key Stakeholders / Interfaces • Managing Director • Function Heads • Regional Functional Heads (as applicable) • Global P&C Functional Contacts • Regional Head Talent & Workforce Planning • Regional TA Delivery & Regional Executive Recruitment Essential skills and competencies: • Bachelors Degree Holder with 7-10 years of Talent Management experience • Strategic Workforce Planning • Data driven; business focused & experience led • Organizational Effectiveness and learning & development
