Due to an internal overseas promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Planning & Strategy Lead, reporting into the Head of CX and Strategy & Business Planning. This exciting role will see you develop strategic planning for the company in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to ensure effective management of resources and market-wide demand to maximize the company’s long-term ambitions across all categories. This role will suit a forward-looking business partner, skilled in translating current and past observations alongside macro-economic trends to analyse and predict future scenarios and demand for the business with support from one direct report who you will lead and coach. Responsibilities: • Translate strategic plan into tactical business- and financial plans which support local market strategy and regional priorities • Actively engage in strategic discussions with the Management Team. Influence decisions by collaborating with a diverse stakeholder base, leveraging data and insights to drive effective solutions • Commercial Finance/scenario modelling, contributing to build business/commercial scenario with high level Finance impact • Contribute to the development of data models and analytics to simulate impact on business and consumer performance • Management of relevant enterprise data, governance, and gap analysis Who we are looking for: • Solid experience in-house across Finance (Budgeting & Reporting), Planning (Forecasting) and Commercial (Sales Planning). Consumer goods, pharmaceutical or retail industry experience is highly advantageous • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to coach and develop a high performing team • Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g., Business or Commerce, Accounting, Economics, statistics • Experience using Power BI or Tableau & Excel – to Advanced level determining data required for reporting purposes • An analytical thinker, with strong influencing and collaboration skills; able to advise and constructively challenge • ability to validate internal project landscape versus external opportunities and business drivers to identify key opportunities for growth What we offer: A competitive salary package that includes private health insurance, parking and gym allowance.
