As our next Lab Supervisor in Crespellano, you will supervise and lead some of our Lab Analysts in an analytical chemistry/aerosol generation/physics laboratory to generate and provide high quality analytical data in compliance with the relevant quality system in place.  You will oversee and lead the implementation of new analytical methods and maintenance of existing method portfolio, by allocating necessary and appropriate resources to provide and maintain a fast and high-quality services to the different partners.  Your ‘day to day’  • Manage, staff and develop a motivated, skilled and optimally resourced team to ensure that performance levels and professional development achieve or exceed business objectives in respect of our company culture; • Ensure that Testing activities are properly set and followed, that critical deviations are solved and that all necessary testing is carried out and the associated records evaluated and retained; • Ensure that non-conformities, out of specifications/trends are investigated in a timely manner, and ensure that CAPA and quality improvement opportunities are identified, prioritized and action plans determined in order to support the organization through continuous improvement; • Contribute to budget preparation and ensure adherence of budget spent vs plan and proactively analyze deviations. Ensure an optimal resource allocation, prepare and deploy productivity initiatives as per our plans; • Develop detailed project plans/schedules and define technical critical paths, while also actively monitoring the delivery. Prepare and release all required project documentation in all project phases, including project costs; • Promote the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental culture, transfer it into procedures and work instructions to discipline and monitor the team activities and keep an healthy and safe-conscious working environment. Who we’re looking for • 4-6 years of experience in a Laboratory Domain related to Product, including relevant scientific experience, e.g. in Method / Material Testing / Technology Development domains; • 1-2 years in a role involving People Management is key to be successfully considered for this role; • Degree in Science or equivalent field; • Advanced knowledge of International standards and Experience in audit on Safety and Sustainability, ISO17025, FDA; • Well developed IT skills (Office). Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills; • Excellent knowledge in statistic / SPC; • English and Italian fluency are mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
