Your ‘day to day’: As a IFMS Engineer you will be part of our Operations Department at Triaga Inc. a fully owned subsidiary of Philip Morris International and will report to the IFMS Manager. The position will be based in Wilson, NC. Your Responsibilities: · Ensure continuous, safe operation and maintenance of utilities equipment and systems, organizing and coordinating employees and outsourced services. · Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of contracted services in compliance with PMI standards, sustainability norms, and local legislation. · Optimize and monitor energy consumption and processes, aiming to minimize costs and consumption. · Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of utility installations to ensure continuous production, high productivity, and excellent quality while minimizing costs. · Adhere to all sustainability policies and health and safety legislation, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, PMI QMS, and AWS standards. · Coordinate state-required energy inspections, follow up on outcomes, and ensure adherence to technical norms and sustainability rules. · Ensure uninterrupted supply and optimized use of electricity, steam, gas, water, and other energy sources. · Develop and update maintenance strategies and plans, ensuring documentation is current, and implement equipment modifications and upgrades. · Prepare technical data for external suppliers and project engineers, support factory projects, and investigate new technologies for potential implementation to reduce energy and water consumption. · Analyze utilities operation and maintenance costs for accurate budget preparation, initiate productivity initiatives, control budget spending, and report monthly energy and maintenance costs. · Stay updated on modern engineering technologies, implement improvements for the Building Management System, and conduct feasibility studies for utility enhancements. · Manage and optimize all energy processes, monitor environmental impacts, prepare Environmental Long Range Plans, and implement corrective actions to achieve energy targets and standards. · Prepare failure mode analysis for utilities breakdowns, follow up on corrective actions, and supervise personnel, ensuring their training and adherence to procedures and good manufacturing practices. · Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, PMI policies, and annual performance objectives. · Complete individual training plans and comply with Qualification Matrix requirements. Who we’re looking for: • PREFERRED: 5 years of similar professional experience • PREFERRED: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Engineering ideal) • REQUIRED: Legally authorized to work in the US, local to Wilson NC • REQUIRED: Manufacturing environment experience Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and crouch as needed 8/10/12 hours during a shift. • Must be able to bend and lift various weights up to 25lbs if needed during shift.
