Your ‘day to day’: • Own the channel strategy cross categories for the entire business in Costa Rica. • Create Channel strategies for Modern trade across a multitude of regions. • Analyse and recommend alternative distribution models to enter unpenetrated channels. • Develop trade intelligence through collection, understanding and transforming trade information to build up a useful channel’s segmentation and adequate the tools/plans to them. • Derive actionable plans to turn the strategies into tangible outcomes: ensure commercial drivers, pricing, availability, visibility, volume objectives, share of market and shopper experience maximizing. • Monitor Results and pivot appropriately. • Lead and inspire a very sizable sales organization ranging from Senior Regional Sales Managers, Area Supervisor and Route´s Field Sales Force. • Engage and create joint plans with Modern trade Chains. • Engage with internal deployment department to create effective mechanics and visibility materials for each channel and in line with our multi-category approach. • Be responsible for all main business KPIs at every closure, sales, profitability, fundamentals, Share of market. • Be part of a highly engaged and professional commercial team that handles multi-categories in a multi-market context. • Ensure immaculate execution in the POS and track progress. • Ensure full Compliance with Internal policies, strategies, and legal restrictions, to accomplish the targets. • Define pricing and promotion strategies to achieve the set goals of awareness, trial and adoption for our smoke free products. • Build strong relationships with all trade partners generating crow allies to help achieve our smoke-free vision. Who we’re looking for: • Minimum 5 years’ experience with track record in leading commercial sales roles (e.g.: Sales Director, Commercial Operations Director, Country Manager) • Well versed with Direct Distribution Models as well as distributor´s models • FMC industry experience • Experience in introducing new categories and generating critical mass • Fluent in English and Spanish • Analytical skills and strong strategic facet as well as end-to-end executional Leadership • Self-motivated and ready to collaborate effective with a multidisciplinary team • Knows how to navigate in big organizational matrix companies • Identifies with our values: We care, We are Better Together and We are Game Changers • College/University degree in Business administration, Marketing or related. Master’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent will definitely be an advantage.
