We believe in the following values: Innovation | Integrity | Excellent Execution | Collaboration | Responsibility THE OPPORTUNITY As Quality Laboratory Analyst, you will be part of our Quality department for Philip Morris Investments Bergen op Zoom and will be reporting to the Supervisor Quality Control. The position will be based in Bergen op Zoom. A key responsibility you will apply well-defined laboratory methods for all our different products in order to achieve a high level of Quality material, product and process. Specific responsibilities include: • Analysis & Control of product and process quality: Plan and perform sampling test and analysis (physical/visual/chemical) on the quality of incoming materials, semi-finished and finished products according to applicable procedures and analytical methods. • Laboratory accuracy: Use, verify and calibrate Quality equipment as per PMI & ISO requirements, in due time, in order to ensure the accuracy of the results. Prepare and maintain logbooks for each equipment according with QMS requirements. Ensure retention samples collection and storage, in complete respect of PMI standards, while assure as well the auditing sample storage. • Nonconformity: Identify, segregate and block all the non-conformities related to material, semi-finished • and finished products occurred during laboratory analyses. Investigate and resolve critical deviations, contribute to define disposal actions and when appropriate corrective actions. Provide timely and accurate information regarding products. • Continuous improvement, Innovation and change management: Propose and follow-up quality improvement ideas in production or other processes in Operations. Analyze the information and participate in small projects with influence on product quality. Ensure Change management process is followed in compliance with QMS requirement. • Collaboration: Ensure a strong partnership with internal/external stakeholders focusing on collaboration and information exchange in order to ensure excellent quality and Compliance with our requirements, standardization and continuous improvement. Execute internal and external training to all PMI employees, as subject matter expert in QMS, quality process and product in order to drive and share excellence within PMI. • Health, Safety & Environment: Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, environment, health and safety. Report all situations requiring actions in order to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards. KEY REQUIREMENTS • College/Prof. School - Technical school (laboratory) or equivalent skills through. • At least 1 year of experience in the industrial field. • Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO17025, ICH, GMP). • Knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool. • Fluent in English written and spoken.
