The purpose of the role: This role is responsible for designing and prototyping AI and Generative AI solutions, allowing for faster product delivery and reducing PMI's reliance on external vendors for initial development phases. The IT Solution Architect - GenAI Solutions is at the technical forefront of PMIs GenAI initiatives and plays a key role in designing and architecting the future PMI GenAI platform by identifying, validating, and designing reusable components that will be onboraded to the platform as well as challenging designs that are provided by our external partners. Your day to day: • Develop (Gen)AI solution outlines - Design and architect (Gen)AI solutions that align with the company's strategic goals and project requirements as well as steer, review and challenge (Gen)AI solution architectures provided by external partners • Develop and prototype (Gen)AI solutions - Develop and prototype (Gen)AI applications using programming skills to demonstrate proof of concept without (or with limited) external assistance. • Integrate (Gen)AI solutions in the PMI IT ecosystem - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate (Gen)AI solutions into the existing technology ecosystem. • Support (Gen)AI projects - Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, challenging vendor estimates and proposals to ensure the best outcome for PMI. Ensure reusability there applicable and provide recommendations about solution development • Keep up-to-date with (Gen)AI technology and trends - Stay abreast of the latest (Gen)AI trends and technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation and evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can enhance the development and deployment of (Gen)AI solutions. • Document and maintain architectural frameworks and blueprints - document and maintain architectural frameworks and blueprints in LeanIX for (Gen)AI projects • Promote a culture of innovation and define execution plan to disseminate innovative capabilities • Provide conceptual blueprints / integrated solution outlines with the aim to achieve business objectives, while maximizing reusability, scalability and standardization of a solution itself and its components. Who we’re looking for • University degree or equivalent professional / life experience in Computer Sciences / Information Technology • 5+ years of Industries and functional experience • Proven and practical experience with designing and architecting Machine Learning and AI applications • Proven and practical experience in architecting scalable, composable and modular cloud application • Architectural and practical experience with Generative AI technology and willingness to stay at the edge of technology • Self-driven, creative teammate that likes to deal with ambiguity.
