Be a part of a revolutionary change We are looking for a qualified Manager S&PD to join the S&PD team in the Middle East Cluster, based in Dubai. As a Manager S&PD, you will drive strategy, program architecture, portfolio management and Long-Range Plan in the market. You will also drive new ways of working in the market and support project delivery. Your ‘day to day’ • Strategy: - Build strategy definition, strategy cycle and implementation, working closely with the business, to establish mid-long term business plans which achieve/exceed growth objectives (inc. Must Win Battles) - Translating strategic priorities into key initiatives and supporting the establishment of a rigorous project and portfolio management approach. - Lead or support new longer-term strategic business opportunities and provide analytically backed recommendations to management. • Program Architecture: - Build and analyzing a visible and transparent project portfolio. - Supporting project managers to create and maintain project charters, milestone plans, benefit cases, value realization plans and interdependencies between functions and deliverables. • Project and Portfolio Management: - Prepare for Governance process, providing supporting materials and insights on new project in-take and enable project prioritization recommendation. - Establishing management team meeting calendars and cadence to assess projects and make proposals to stop, start, continue - Work with the CPM to understand the status of existing projects and build a view on potential impacts to the portfolio, as well as in assessing requests for resources against project profile and make recommendations for decision. - Raising major project risks and issues to the management team e.g. delay to key milestones - Preparation of project closure / lessons learned sessions and communicate outcomes internally within the Affiliate and with PMI / Region • Area VP MENA Support: - Minutes of the meeting following business review - MENA business calendar upkeep • Advising project teams on good practices and building project management capability Who we’re looking for: • You have bachelor's degree in finance or business administration; MBA is a plus. • You have around 10 years’ experience, in Tier-1 strategy consulting ideally combined with a first stint in a corporate role in multinational FMCG. • Track record of working in Commercial combined ideally with Business Development / Planning skills. • Strong business partnering skills and highly collaborative - establishes collaborative and trusting relationships with the business’s key leaders and partners. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; critical thinking and solid data/number understanding. • Strong strategic thinking capability • Experience / Ability to manage ambiguity in a dynamic and complex environment. • Consistent track record in leading strategic projects from conceptualization to delivery and results • Advanced level of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience with MS Power BI is a plus.
