Software Engineer - Integration

PMI’S JOURNEY TO A SMOKE-FREE FUTURE IS FUELED BY TECHNOLOGY We are seeking an Integration Engineer who will help in adopting and supporting established IT architecture principles, standards & patterns that can be leveraged across 'IT products, in alignment with the overall architectural vision and direction and provide insights for PMI architecture services and related technologies, data and security components in related domain(s), adopt standards and guidelines for the implementation. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY As an Integration Engineer, you will: • Support implementation of PMI's Architecture Services and all related service portfolios at IT product group level, including documentation standards, to better support current and future business needs • Support integration models for different types of applications and endpoints prioritizing API-First approach and re-usability with MuleSoft • Support global and regional integration initiatives; provide architectural and technical consultancies to IT Functions. • Create, document, and maintain integration technology best practices, standards, templates, and examples; collaborate with stakeholders on their implementation. • Define document and implement technical and service improvements of existing applications integrations or Services in line with API-First strategy and cloud-based services. • Collaborate with PMI global/affiliates in the reviewing of vendor submissions and preparing recommendation that meet PMI requirements including compliance with established standards and best practices. • Implement DevOps capabilities for integration solutions. • Continuous improvement in monitoring and observability capabilities cross-technology. You should apply if you have: • University degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent • 3/5 years of experience in IT technology • >1 year of significant experience in systems integrations technologies area with Mulesoft • Understanding key processes in technology delivery • Experience in Incident/Even and Change Management (ITIL) • Exposure to international environment. Additional experience that we’ll value: • Hands-on experience with Mulesoft stack (with MuleSoft Architect / Mulesoft Developer certificate) • Understanding of Integration Design Patterns • Understanding of API and data security standards • Hands-on experience with integration standards and technologies (i.e. SOAP, REST, HTTPS, SSL, RESTful) • Understanding of enterprise integration practices (SOA, Microservices, API-led, EDA, ESB, Service Mesh, ETL) • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation (Jenkins, JFrog, Git etc.) • Experience in Monitoring tools such us AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, Opsgenie, Datadog • Experience with AWS platform (Cloud Practitioner or above certificate) • Agile practices (SCRUM, Kanban).
