Your ‘day to day’: Drive strategy, program architecture, portfolio management and Long-Range Plan (LRP) in market. Drive New Ways of Working in market and support project delivery across. Strategy: • Drive market strategy development and alignment across functions; identify interdependencies and seek for efficiencies. • Run and facilitate strategic planning process in close cooperation and alignment with Regional Head Quarters (RHQ) and Operations Center (OC). Program architecture: • Orchestrate and coordinate program architecture required to deliver the strategy. • As an integrated POC for global and regional projects, ensure market deployment following structured methodology. • Allocate resources and drive project prioritization. • Ensure implementation of OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategy, Measurements) in the market and at the functional level. Business Planning: • Develop Long Range Plan in close collaboration with RHQ and in full alignment with OC LRP processes. • Manage implementation of KPI framework anchored on OGSM principles. • Generate and synthesize market-level competitive intelligence. Portfolio development & management: Lead CARICAM's program portfolio development aligned with CARICAM's commercial strategy to ensure attainment of objectives / KPIs in the Project Based Organization. This requires: • Prioritize program roadmaps for key strategies. • Structure programs, projects, and sub-activities taxonomy in accordance with CARICAM's mission and goals. • Close cross-functional collaboration with Management Team and other key portfolio stakeholders to ensure the alignment and execution priorities with the business, commercial and corporate strategies. Program Governance: Establish an effective execution framework of the programs and ensure the operating model functions across CARICAM. This includes: • Work with Management Team to develop a priority framework for managing CARICAM calendar of business activities. • Develop an evaluation scheme to assess strengths, improvement areas and risks of the programs. • Leverage the assessment results for Management Team’s decision making by effective communication. • Manage the program reporting throughout the program delivery life cycle (e.g., Goals / Milestones/KPIs/ROI/impact/effectiveness) by leading the internal stakeholders to gather the necessary data points. • Ensure the reports and relating insights are leveraged in the program execution. Project execution/efficiency management: • Lead selected key projects; drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead the development of tools/ processes to increase quality of work while mastering all relevant systems. Management presentations • Lead the preparation of executive presentations of strategy reviews and management updates supporting Managing Director and management team. Who we’re looking for: • Degree in Finance / Business Economics / Marketing / Statistics or any other related field. • 5+ years of experience in a similar position leading Strategy and Projects or Project Management. • Finance or Project Management background with good problem-solving skills. Ideally with good understanding of the commercial department (sales and marketing), transformations and project management in FMCG. • 4+ years of experience in strategy definition, process, and implementation, working closely with teams in the regions to establish and implement long term business plans to achieve/exceed the organizations’ growth objectives. • Professional experience in business development projects, new business models and routes to markets for innovative offerings, participate in the simplification and automation of internal processes and tasks. • Validated experience making concrete strategic recommendations from large data sets. • Validated strong storytelling experience and strong communication skills (verbal &writing) • Advanced English level is required.
